Before Debra’s upcoming surgery, we decided to go out for a nice quite Sunday evening dinner. We chose Longhorn Steakhouse as our target and headed out. At 4:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon things were quite and we didn’t have any trouble getting a seat, in fact if we’d had a party of 40 we wouldn’t have had a problem either.
They got us seated and as we settled in we noticed a lady whose fast talking voice was shrill and evidently didn’t have an off switch. But to our luck they were just about finished and soon left so that we could enjoy our meal in peace and quietness.
Debra decided on the Filet, cooked medium, the chips and a salad. I chose the 11 oz rib-eye, medium rare, with broccoli and salad. The meals came with a round loaf of fresh baked bread.
Service was good, sides were good, but both of our steaks were a bit under cooked.
